Spring 2023 Amity Trio Tour
Amity Trio is gearing up for a spring tour to Southern Indiana in March and April 2023! During this tour, we will be collaborating with the IU Jacobs School of Music, Latin American Music Center, and the IU Cook Center for Indiana University’s First Thursday. We will be sharing the animated shorts from Lucrecia y el canto de los dudasaurios and will perform the world premiere of Dr. Francisco Cortés-Álvarez’s “Delicioso Hongo,” a piece we commissioned in 2022.
Thanks to a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission, we will be traveling throughout Southern Indiana to bring Maggie Polk Olivo’s new song set, “Illuminating Apologues,” to local schools in the Huntingburg, Indianapolis, and Bloomington communities! Our tour will consist of performances, educational, and engagement activities involving students and the community - we hope to see you there!

The Indiana Arts Commission, for supporting our performances of Illuminating Apologues and taking that to schools across the state. And to the Jacobs School of Music and IU departments who came together to collaborate and coordinate the IU performances.
